Florida Water is a cologne-like liquid first introduced in the United States in 1808 by the New York-based perfumer Murray & Lanman. Its name references the mythical "Fountain of Youth" said to be located in Florida. While it was originally marketed as a unisex fragrance with citrus and floral notes, spiritual communities soon discovered its deeper energetic qualities.
Traditionally composed of alcohol, water, and essential oils like lavender, orange, lemon, clove, and sometimes cinnamon, Florida Water became popular in rituals and magical workings for its high vibrational scent and purifying properties.
